Brontë Academy Trust is a company limited by guarantee and an exempt charity. We are therefore regulated by the Education Funding Agency as part of the Department of Education. The academies within the Trust are funded by the Department of Education on a per pupil basis.
Articles & Funding
The funding agreement provides the framework for academy or free school to operate in. The Master Funding Agreement is for the Trust as a whole and each of the schools within the Trust will then use the appropriate supplemental funding agreement.
Data Protection & Privacy
Brontë Academy Trust is required to keep and process certain information about its staff, pupils, their families, volunteers and external contractors in accordance with its legal obligation under data protection legislation. Organisational methods for keeping data secure are imperative. Brontë Academy Trust believes that it is good practice to keep clear practical policies, backed up by written procedures.
